Lemuel Chocolate | Bean To Bar | Singapore

ABBEY: I always crave for hot chocolate for Christmas. Maybe it is with the season or with the ample supply of that brown nectar during that time. Good thing Lemuel (Bean-to-bar chcocolate maker) is there to satisfy my craving. The drink is not too sweet. It is thick and really chocolatey. It is like a cup of hugs that gives warmth to you. They also sell chocolate bars as well as bon bons, and brownies. Definitely, a return trip will be happening.

WILL: Every cold weather hits up, which can be felt during December - February in Sinagpore, Abbey is longing for a cup of hot chocolate. 2020 we went to check Angelina at Marina Bay Sands and on 2021 we went to one of the local chocolatier. Lemuel Chocolate … of course support local! Lemuel Chocolate’s Bean to Bar concept is located at The Star Vista just beside Buona Vista MRT Station. In their open kitchen store you can peak how the chocolate were processed from bean to your sweet lovely chocolate! Their cafe has this chic and pure feel. You can surely have an intimate/private talk there. So how’s the hot chocolate? It is velvety texture, not to sweet and the warmness will embrace you in that cold day. Haha. Truly, Lemuel Chocolate’s were MADE WITH PASSION! You can book a tour too in their factory.

GODIVA Chocolatier since 1926 - Hot Chocolate Drink in Singapore

ABBEY: I have this itch in me to try Godiva chocolate. Be it their chocolate, soft serve or drinks. And just the universe conspires, we “stumbled” upon their shop at Ion Orchard. I’m into coffee that time but hey the hot 85% dark chocolate drink called me.

It is not that bitter or maybe I just got used to the taste as I’m chocolate with that much percentage. Not too sweet and creamy but thick. Next time I’ll try the soft serve or even buy their 100% arabica coffee beans for 46SGD.

WILL: Abbey loves chocolates..specially dark chocolate. Well, that made us to realize to explore different chocolatiers. One of those is GODIVA! Godiva originated from Belgium and almost 100 years in business.

Last December, we indulged on their hot drinks offered at ION orchard. So what’s with it? You will definitely savour the luscious creamy chocolatey drink. I went for their Speculoos Hot Chocolate. Of course it is extra sweet and have the dinstict taste of biscoff cookies. It is indeed lovely.

If you are up to a different kind of cafe, go ahead to Godiva and experience their well-known chocolates.

Saint Marc Cafe Singapore

ABBEY: After a loaded snack at Carl's Jr., Chat invited us to have some coffee. We've been to Vivo City multiple times but this is the first time we set our feet on St. Marc Cafe. They offer Japanese tea, desserts and coffee.

I picked choco banana split. It took more than a couple of minutes for my order but when my coaster lighted up and I saw my frozen delight, it was worth the wait. With my long-handled teaspoon, I scooped the vanilla ice cream and the taste is delicious. Not too sweet...very creamy and smooth. It costs 9sgd which is reasonable with all the presentation and great taste.

Next dine in, I'll their other creations.

WILL: After our usual dinner/snack at our "official tambayan" with Chat, she told us that she want to have a coffee and its her treat!! Yehhheyy! For us, I told her to try the new St. Marc Cafe and she agreed. Hmmm, do you have this kind of friend? None? Well, pray for one. Haha!

Make way to St. Marc Cafe's hot chocolate...creamy and so chocolatey. This is a great place to catch up with your friends. Cozy, quite place. Oh for people like Abbey who love sweets, they are offering ice creams here.

Bag of Beans Tagaytay

Abbey:
This is our last stop after our EK getaway. We had our dinner at Leslie's then proceed to Bag of Beans to intake our share of caffeine since we will be travelling a long distance from South to North. Complementing the coldness of Tagaytay is the hotness of rich-flavored coffee served in a small cup. Perfect partner for their bread. Don't know the price as Denise put it on their tab.

WILL: Bag of beans. It was Denise's bday when i first set my feet here. The place is good for couples, very romantic. I always ordered their hot choco, why?, it reminds me of my lola's tsokolate de baterol. The long drive was just compensated. Thanks diana and john for driving us in here :)
