Starbucks Reserve™ Rochester Park

ABBEY: We went to one of the “atas” Starbucks branch in Singapore. It is at Rochester. Since it is Starbucks Reserved, I picked my item from their “reserved” menu. A venti size of Peru coffee. It went well with the complimentary cookie.

It has a bit sour after taste though. The good thing is it is free; I used my Starbucks stars. Yey!

Starbucks Reserve™ Rochester Park

WILL: Our only goal is to visit the one of the unique Starbucks branch in Singapore. But surprise-surprise, we bumped into one Starbucks Reserve in town.

As usual, I ordered my favourite Hoji Chia tea latte and Abbey tried one of the reserved coffee available. We opted to seat at the Reserve Bar because there is no seat available upstairs. Well, that is a good thing as we somewhat chatted with the barista and explained to us the beans and ways to brew the coffee. That's what you call making a connection with customer.

Now, you know where to go when you want some extraordinary taste on your coffee.

Starbucks Singapore's Strawsome Frappuccino (Customize your Frappuccino Any Way You Like)

ABBEY: I have read articles for unlocking Starbucks secret menu. And I always wanted to try that. So when I heard that they have one-for-one offer for frappuccino by designing your own I grabbed the chance.
Me and my wife tried six different flavors; two per week. Below are mine.
First : Creamy dark caramel espresso frappuccino
Second: Cadburry creme egg frappuccino
Third: The Undertow

We got the menu items here:
I admit that all the drinks are not 100% accurate as per the recipe listed in the web but the taste is still delicious.
I hope they will be having the same ingredients worldwide specially toffeenut and hazelnut syrups. With this more I can unlock more recipes.

WILL: Isn't it sad that your favourite coffee/mocha concoction was already thing of the past on starbucks? Fret not!! Starbucks Singapore is holding a Strawsome Frappuccino (Customize your Frappuccino Any Way You Like) for you to taste what you are craving for ages. :)

3 weeks straight, we availed this customisation. I had Oreo Frappuccino, Zebra Frappuccino, and Cookie Dough Frappuccino. Yum, yum, yum!! And the best part of it? It is buy one get one free. :)

I wonder what I will get for this week :) haha!

Starbucks Singapore Frappuccino Happy Hour (Strawberry Cheesecake or Tiramisu Frappuccino)

ABBEY: Starbucks Singapore held another Frappuccino Happy Hour last June 23-27. Or should I say happy hours as it lasted for four hours (3-7PM). For a price of 9.20SGD we got Strawberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu.

The Tiramisu tastes good as it is not too sweet and you can bite into crunchy chunks on the drink.

Hope to have more happy hours to come as well as more flavours to choose from.

WILL: Starbucks, strawberry and cheese frappé revamped its flavor. I do not know if it is because of the "bug" thing but I will always be thankful for this new idea.

All Singapore store gave way to the public for their Happy Hour 1-for-1 promotion. After my office I directly went to Metropolis to meet Abbey in Starbucks' branch there. Queue builds up when while we are waiting for our order. I asked for starwberry cheesecake frappuccino while hubby got his blended Tiramisu.

We take it home and while eating our dinner, we are sipping our delightful drink. My strawberry cheesecake is so delicious that I never asked Abbey to have even a sip. Haha. The crunchy crumbles and beautiful creme on top gave ecstasy on my tastebuds.

Try it for yourself. Go to your nearest Starbucks. :)

Starbucks Singapore's Red Bean + Green Tea Frappuccino

ABBEY: Another one-for-one from Starbucks. They offer this on two of their drinks:

I haven't ot the chance to taste the mocha one. But for the green tea with red bean, I don't like the taste, Wilma does. She said it taste like "ice buko and halo-halo" (frozen delight in Philippines). Maybe its not for me. A pair of drink costs 8sgd. We'll wait for another treat from SB.

WILL:  I am a faceboook Stabucks Singapore fan. Every news was detailed in at that page. So when they declared a happy hour last June 25 for their latest flavor, screenshot their ad and emailed it to my husband. Indeed, all went crazy and queue up for buy 1 take 1 tasting.

The verdict? I love green tea, i love mung beans, so what will you expect, my verdict to this frap?, I love love it! The strong green tea and lovable mung beans were mixed up together and give a new a reason to go to Starbucks. Actually it reminds me of a Philippine's halo-halo. Yummy!

ComCrop @ NorthWest

ABBEY:  This is Harvest Moon in reality. I only do gardening in small pots and only planting the ornamental ones. But this is new experience. Starbucks is having a program for the community to plant crops. We did prepared for compost, built a land plot, plant seedlings and transferring the grown seedlings to the plot. It was tiring but fun. We were provided lunch, water, complementary shirt and dessert. This is good program and I hope we can join again someday.

WILL: I saw in Abbey's eyes when I asked him that I want to join the Starbucks' Project is quite hesitant. Why? He do not know what will be ahead for us. Haha. He agreed and now it give back time to Mother Earth.
I am very nervous why? There is no one calling us for to confirm our registration, so what we do?, we went back to the VivoCity branch and followed-up! ;) Not more than three hours one called up man rang my phone then were in. Ha!
Exactly 830AM we're at the Bukit Panjang branch waiting for our group. :) Then around 9am we start the oplan tanim. :) First, they told us the composting, then we build a blocks for the plants, we was asked to get a Starbucks cup and plant out own seeds, then the last thing we were asked to plant the seedlings to the blocks we built.
After this affair, Starbucks provided a lunch, bottomless cold coffee, a fro-yo with dill and the most exciting part is their speech. I am so touched that in a small effort we exerted a group of aunties were relieved to many duties.
Thanks Starbucks and The Living! Project for giving a chance for us to serve the community, aunties, and mother nature in a small way.
This is a great date! Haha! Unusual and exciting!

Starbucks VIA -Ready Brew

ABBEY:
A DIY Starbuck's coffee? Yes, they launch their microground coffee for 3.90 per pack of three. The preparation is simple: pour out a pack to 180ml of hot water. Don't stir yet for 6 minutes. Add your milk and sweeter. Voila, you can sip the great taste of hazelnut, columbia coffee, or decaf.

WILL: Starbucks instant coffee finally arrived Singapore. Early this year, when we went to Indonesia, they market a pack of coffee that do not need a coffeemaker  but taste like a freshly brewed coffee...we bought it. Then it ruined our starbucks tumbler! Gosh! The impurities get inside the tumblers design. The supposedly morning delight turned in horror. Our tumbler met our trashcan. :'(

Now, of course this is from Starbucks, reliable! We bought their trial park for 3.90$. Shocked! No impurities! The taste is better than brewed! Lovvvve it!

Earth Day @ Starbucks

ABBEY: This was celebrated by Starbucks last April 22. To participate in Earth Day, they encourage their patrons to go to any Starbucks branch with their own Starbucks mug to get a FREE brewed coffee. With this they won't be using paper cups to serve coffee and they can help the environment to conserve paper resources. They filled our mugs to full. We redeemed it in their Tampines branch. We enjoyed our coffee and we participated in the Earth Day in our own little way.

ABBEY:

WILL: Holiday! Earth Day! Starbucks giving away free coffee. The conditions?, bring your starbucks tumbler...easy.
We went at their Tampines Mall branch.
The greatest thing, after this event, starbucks will slash 0.50$ per order if you bring your own tumbler. You save money...you save mother earth :)

Starbucks Singapore

ABBEY:
I know this is weird. I only ordered less than 10 coffees against the numerous times I went into the cafe. Its not that I went there just to hang out, like others do. Haha. Whenever I go to Starbucks, I buy their signature hot choco or mango passion fruit. I love coming back because of the coffee's aroma. :) Maybe next time I'll try their new "trenta".

WILL: In Philippines, everytime me and my friends meet, coffee will always be in our list. There, we just not only share the different aromas of the different flavors of ordered coffee but we also share our updates in our life. We can stay until 3am, hours of laughing and reminiscing.
So when we get here in Singapore, this was not taken out of us, not that frequent like in the Manila, but glad that I, Chat and Abbey still shares a coffee moment.
Starbucks coffee the taste for me is quite bland. So i always end up adding many cinnamon and vanilla, so i rather have their hot teas.
Love their hot teas specially with yhe mint. Costs only SGD4.

Starbucks Tumblers Holiday Edition

ABBEY:
The wind paved the way for me to buy Wilma this tumbler. :) But promo for free coffee voucher ended before I bought it. We now have 4 tumblers, 2 broken and 2 functional. We used the former as canisters and the latter at the office, of course for coffee and tea. Our current tumbler is bigger than our last, meaning you can drink more ;) They only cost 19SGD each. Thank you Starbucks.

WILL: We have other set of tumblers and auntie told us that it was blew off by a wind that caused the fall and breakage.. duhhh, so lame of her excuse.
When the Starbucks here in Singapore open their house for free drinks of their flavors for this season (peppermint mocha, toffee nut latte & dark cherry mocha), I also bought the above huge blue tumbler for Abbey.
Why we use the Starbucks Tumbler? because of its quality and its a way cheaper than others. And one more thing, :D here in SG if you buy a tumbler, it will come with a free coffee voucher. Nice right?
