Beef Dumplings Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
Pork shoulder / beef brisket (thin slices)
3-5 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 pack of store-bought dumplings
Green onion
Eggs (yolks and white separated)

Boil 4-5 cups of water in a pot. Once boiling, put the pork and garlic until pork is tender. Add water as needed.
Put the dumplings and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the dumplings are soft. Be careful when stirring the soup. The dumplings are fragile and break easily. Put salt and pepper to taste or fish sauce. Put the green onions and simmer for another minute.

For the eggs, beat the yolks. Put a little oil in a non-stick pan and make sure to cover the pan. Stove is at low heat.
Before putting the eggs, wipe the oil until only thin layer is there. Put the eggs. Turn of the stove. The remaining heat will cook the eggs.
Same thing to be done on the egg whites. Once cooked, let it cool. Roll it and cut into thin strips.

Put soup in the bowl and garnish with eggs. Enjoy.

Easy Beef Dumplings Soup

VERDICT
WILL: We are a victim! Yup! We are one of those people who are addicted to watch a cooking show. What can we do when we drool on the food that they do? We cook it!

Then, on that, Abbey knew what should be the next viand for that week. It will be Dumpling Soup.

It is a good timing to cook it. That will not be only for me but also for my sick housemate. Good Abbey!

The beef was deeply highlighted in the soup and all you can do is just eat. Sorry. No conversation should be made until I finish my food! Haha!

This will be in our comfort food list for sure.

Vision Lab Eyewear at Punggol Waterway Point

ABBEY: The time has come again to change my specs. This is part of my company insurance. We checked the eye glasses shops in Waterway Point and found Vision Lab.

They have promotion for Ray-Ban brand. I got a pair of Ray Ban with Crizal lenses for 290.00(SGD). The product was ready in less than a week.

I had issues with the fit but they gladly and kindly readjust it for me at no additional cost.

WILL: Isn't grade that most of your insurance will cover all your 'health' needs? Dental, Medical and eye care care is covered.

For this year, we went for Vision Lab. They are conducting a promotion for their Ray-Ban frames + blue coating and uv protection lenses. For only S$198.00 you can get it with the powered glasses.

I intend to have a same design of my husbands's frame. Hehe. Couple glasses!

Vision Lab's optometrist attends our questions and needs with total care. Even a week after they gave us our new glasses, we still went back for them to loosen it up. They done it with a smile :)

Thanks Vision Lab.

Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei at Tanjong Pagar

ABBEY: There's another restaurant that opened in Tanjong Pagar. Its name is Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei. Boy, that was long.

It offers Japanese-style beef hamburger steaks. We ordered their main entries. I got Triple Cheese Prime Beef Hamburg set (Keisuke original sauce) for 20.80SGD. The set comes with free flow of miso, rice, side dishes and eggs.

For side dishes, I liked Sapporo Ramen salad the most. I also enjoyed slices of capsicum and cucumber with sesame dressing. I also had couple of trips to egg station with sunny side ups, omelette and tamagoyaki.

I was so full after the dinner. Payment was only cash during our visit.

WILL: Facebook is very powerful tool for advertising and no wonder many companies are paying so much money to make their products 'viral'.

Abbey, who are always on the hunt for new recipes and restaurants to dine, saw Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei. It is the newly opened diner at Tanjong Pagar under the umbrella of Keisuke Ramen.

Their beef is Halal but they are not yet certified. And their only product in the menu is, what else? Hamburger. I am sorry I do not eat their burger so for the review, please read Abbey's comments on it.

So how's their unlimited salad bar? Hmmm, salad bars are now a big thing in new restaurants, I am wondering why. Haha! Yup unlimited, my tummy was filled up by their Sapporo Ramen Salad and plain omelette. How I wish they can open a new restaurant that will offer only salad or they can sell salad for vegetarians. :)

After we ate, the queue is still long. We are all happy in dining in to your restaurant.

***One more thing that shocks me. Can you please make an effort for the take-away. As I said, I do not eat my burger. And I asked their attendant to kindly wrap it up for me. She declined because there is no container for take-aways. Luckily my husband's lunch box is clean so we just put there the burger steak.
