Poached Salmon

  • Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 chicken cube 
  • 2 fillets salmon
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
    • ground black pepper to taste

    • Bring water and lemon juice to a boil in medium-sized skillet. Stir in chicken cube Reduce heat to a simmer and place salmon fillets in pan. Season with pepper and sprinkle with parsley. Remove salmon from pan after 10 minuets each side. Keep salmon warm.

    • Boil remaining liquid in the skillet until it is reduced to approximately 1/4 cup. 



ABBEY: She said we'll have salmon as supper. We went to the grocery and bought salmon and lemon along with our supplies. All the while, I thought she will just fry the fish and zest it with lemon. This time it's different. The salmon was simmered to a mixture of chicken broth, rosemary, and lemon. A burst of salty and sour taste will fill your mouth for every bite and it's great.
